Pastor David Hewitt has been an ordained minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America for 32 years, in that time serving four churches as pastor. Presently he is the pastor of King of Glory Lutheran Church in Carmel, Indiana. He is a graduate of Gettysburg (now Union) Lutheran Seminary (M. Div.). He and his wife, Diane, have two children.
